María de los Ángeles Alulema is part of the Accounting and Finance Advisory team at Contalex.
She is in charge of advising clients in the management of the accounting, payroll, and tax
processes.
She graduated from the Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas-ESPE (2014) with a Finance and
Audit, Certified Public Accountant degree. Later, she granted a Specialization in International
Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Taxation from the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar
(2023). Recently, María de los Ángeles got a Certification in Tax Management from the
Universidad San Francisco de Quito (2025).
Prior to join to Contalex, María de los Ángeles worked at Firms of professional services and
advisory where she developed her profesional practice for different local and foreign clients. Her
practice focused on Accounting and Payroll Outsourcing,
